Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival – Thimphu (54km, 01 hour) On arrival at Paro int. Airport, our representative from our company will greet you and assist in escorting you to Thimphu, followed by a visit. •Enroute, stop by the Tachogang temple with a 15thcentury iron suspension bridge •The Tashichho Dzong (Fortress), built in 1641 on the Wang Chhu riverside, is considered the most impressive building in Thimphu. Evenings are free for exploring the city. Overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 2
Thimphu City Tour After breakfast, will be followed by a visit. •The Buddha Dordenma statue is one of the world's largest Buddha Rupas. •Memorial Chorten (Stupa) was built in 1974 in memory of the Third King of Bhutan. •Takin Preserve Park, Takin is a national animal of Bhutan •Zilukha Nunnery was founded in 1976 to promote Buddhism, today it houses around 60 nuns. •Simply Bhutan is a living museum and a photo studio. •Bhutanese authentic craft street Evenings are free for exploring the city. Day 3
Thimphu – Punakha (71km, 2 hours) Drive to Punakha via Dochu-la Pass (3,088 m). On a clear day, enjoy a magnificent view of the highest peaks of the Himalayas, and follow by Druk Wangyal Chorten (Temple) at Dochu La/Nature walks •Sangchen Dorji Lhendrup Nunnery is a Buddhist college and meditation center. •Punakha Dzong(fortress), built in 1637 is nestled between two rivers the Mo Chhu and Pho Chhu * Enjoy a scenic walk on one of Bhutan's longest suspension bridges, linking settlements to the fort. Day 4
Punakha – Paro (125km, 03 hours) After breakfast, drive to Paro, followed by a visit. * Chimi Lhakhang (Fertility Temple), is believed to help a quick childbirth to childless couples. •Lhampheri Recreational Park •Airport Bird’s Eye viewpoint and Riverside. * Paro Dzong, a fortress built in 1646, is approached via a traditional wooden bridge. Evening freely scrolls around town. Overnight stay in Paro.
Day 5
Hike to Tiger's Nest (Taktsang Monastery) After breakfast, drive to a hiking spot, Tiger's Nest is an ancient site where Guru Rimpoche meditated after flying on a tigress back in the 8th century. It's a sacred location perched on a rocky ledge. Lunch will be served in the town's top tourist eatery, followed by a visit. •The National Museum (Ta-Dzong) houses unique historical collections. Evenings are free for exploring the city. Overnight stay in Paro. OR (Optional) Day Excursion to Cheli-la pass/sightseeing •After breakfast drive to Chilela Pass. On a clear day, you can witness a superb view of Mts. Jhomolhari and Jichu Drake.
